Mansoor Rafiq Umar is the CEO & President of Halal Watch World. He is a graduate of Darun Na’im Institute, South Africa.
He studied under respected scholars like Mln Taha Karaan and Sheikh Mokhtar Magroui.
Mansoor serves as the Chaplain Imam at SUNY Albany. He is an Executive Committee Member of the NYS Office of Faith. Also an Imam at MCBNY and active in interfaith outreach. He authored the Halal Integrity Protection Standards (HIPS) for the U.S. Dedicated to faith leadership, education, and halal advocacy.
